About the Book

The eight-panel Painting of the Royal Procession to Hwaseong, which records King Jeongjo’s royal procession to Suwon Hwaseong, has been reimagined as a postcard book containing 40 postcards.

Joseon Cat Kingdom is a land founded by cats who love Joseon and its culture. The charming palace cats and townsfolk first seen in the hidden-cat picture book Find King Meow in the Grand Cat Parade: The Painting of the Cats’ Royal Procession to Hwaseong now return as postcards. Enjoy the artist’s newly reimagined scenes, then search each front illustration for the motif shown in the STAMP box on the back.

Use the postcards to write to someone who loves Korean culture, give a distinctly Korean gift to a friend abroad, or spark a child’s curiosity about Korean heritage.
